Family-owned dealer group Hills has announced the launch of Geely Auto at its Hills Automotive site in Mustow Green, Kidderminster, marking a further step in the group’s ongoing expansion.

Operating as Geely Kidderminster, the new franchise strengthens Hills’ growing automotive selection and reflects its continued investment in the region. The launch brings a new global automotive brand to the local market, broadening customer choice while reinforcing Hills’ position as a progressive, forward-thinking dealer group.

The franchise launches with the Geely EX5, a fully electric SUV that demonstrates the brand’s focus on advanced technology, contemporary design and everyday usability. The Geely EX5 offers a spacious interior with a minimalist cabin layout, large central touchscreen and high-quality materials, alongside a range of driver assistance systems designed to enhance safety and comfort.

Built as a dedicated electric vehicle, the Geely EX5 delivers smooth, quiet performance and is designed to support a wide range of driving needs. Fast-charging capability and integrated connectivity features further underline its suitability for customers transitioning to electric vehicles.

Future additions to the Geely Auto range will include the Geely Starray EM-i, a plug-in hybrid SUV designed to combine everyday practicality with electrified efficiency. Offering an electric-only driving range of up to 84 miles, the Starray EM-i allows many day-to-day journeys to be completed on electric power, while retaining the flexibility of a petrol engine for longer trips.

The Starray EM-i forms part of a wider product rollout, with five additional Geely Auto models planned over the next 18 months, supporting the brand’s long-term growth in the UK market.
